We designed the Amsterdam UMC Imaging Center, located on the VU Medical Center Amsterdam campus, as a pioneering facility that integrates radiological patient examinations, clinical research, and isotope production under one roof.
The design, centred on fostering encounters, communication, and collaboration, was an ambitious undertaking given the constraints of creating a compact building in Amsterdam’s Zuidas district.
This university hospital, affiliated with Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, stands out as one of the few institutions worldwide with such an advanced facilities.
