An inspiring and healthy work environment for all employees and a hospitable place for the client to get familiar with the product: that was the wish of Motion10, consultant and supplier of innovative IT solutions, for their new office on the 42nd floor of the newly build ‘De Rotterdam’ in Rotterdam. D/DOCK and Tarzan Projekten were given the task to turn this workplace into a Healing Office: a design approach that focuses on the individual health and happiness of employees by creating an environment, that boosts positive emotions and facilitates behavioural changes, that is beneficial to a long-lasting healthy lifestyle.
