De Groene Afslag in Laren is a blended space championing sustainable living and the circular economy. We have shaped the concept and feasibility study for its permanent home in the former military training centre De Spiegelhorst — a 1980s concrete giant in Buurtschap Crailo, spanning the municipalities of Hilversum, Bussum, and Laren.
We are transforming the space into a future-proof, impact-driven hub, leading its development with a team of top advisors and financiers. Housing corporation De Alliantie will add social and mid-rent housing, while De Groene Afslag will offer a restaurant, hotel, workspaces, meeting rooms, and residences. Together, these uses will form a platform where people and businesses can meet and inspire one another.
