Fabrique des Lumières is the largest immersive digital art centre in the Netherlands. Commissioned by Culturespaces, D/DOCK’s design and build team transformed the interior of the monumental Zuiveringshal West in Amsterdam into a unique 3,800-square-metre digital art experience venue.
Using modern materials to create an environment that evokes the look and feel of a nineteenth-century factory building, the result is a space that showcases the masterpieces of Klimt and Dalí alongside contemporary artists. Advanced technology, including over 100 state-of-the-art projectors and accompanying music, creates a mesmerising experience for its visitors.
