AIR Offices Rotterdam shows how a single-use building can evolve into a lively, multi-purpose destination. Once a department store, it now brings together work, retail and events under one roof.
At its heart is a central square inspired by an Italian piazza, where natural light, greenery and custom details create an open, welcoming atmosphere. Pergolas offer intimate spots, a grandstand invites casual meetings, and a central playroom adds a sense of fun and balance. The space flows naturally across levels, with diverse furniture typologies supporting flexible use throughout the day.
A rooftop bar completes the experience with panoramic city views.
The building holds both BREEAM Excellent and WELL Gold certifications, underscoring its focus on sustainability and wellbeing.
