Martiniplaza in Groningen, the largest event venue in the northern Netherlands, hosts over 10,000 visitors for theatre, sports, conferences, and exhibitions. We redesigned its restaurant and adjacent areas, now Brasserie Loeks, to serve diverse audiences, from event-goers to basketball fans. The flexible design adapts from lively refreshment areas during games to intimate dinners before theatre performances. Customisable LED lighting and a new podium enhance versatility, while the refreshed atmosphere replaces the formerly dim spaces, aligning with Martiniplaza’s hospitality standards and brand identity.
