The Mondrian Doha in Qatar is a five-star destination created in close collaboration with Marcel Wanders, drawing on local knowledge and showcasing innovative materials and techniques.
Each space possesses its own identity, allowing guests to gather a collection of stories woven around a central theme. Marcel Wanders’ signature style extends from the hotel’s lobby and restaurants to its royal penthouses, VIP units, suites, and standard rooms. Bespoke designs reflect local patterns, Arabic script, and historic souks. Giant columns with golden eggs, a ‘tree of life’ made of flowers, falcon video art, ornate stained glass, and intricate mosaic tiling all contribute to a luxurious and immersive hotel experience.
