The Privium ClubLounge West at Schiphol Airport reflects our vision for airport lounges, prioritising traveller wellbeing through environmental psychology and biophilic design.
Inspired by the sleek curves of aircraft fuselages, the lounge features organic forms and inviting, cave-like spaces. A circadian lighting system works in harmony with natural light from the outdoor patio, creating a soothing atmosphere.
A highlight of the space is Fluid Skies, a media art installation that emulates the Northern Lights. Inspired by research on the calming effects of slow, continuous movement, it reduces anxiety and enhances comfort, offering travellers a mesmerising, tranquil experience.
